WELCOME
TO THE POSTGRADUATE STUDENTS' ASSOCIATION
The PGSA
The PGSA is the representative body for all postgraduate students at the University of Nottingham, and all current postgraduate students including part-time are automatically members.
Our aim is to make the postgraduate experience as enjoyable and rewarding as possible. We run social events throughout the year, organise sports teams, look after welfare issues, and represent postgraduate interests on University committees.
Please have a look around the site and see what we have to offer, and please visit regularly to keep up to date with all our news. We'll advertise all upcoming events here, as well as providing you with news from around the University which affects postgraduates. We hope you will find it useful.
The PGSA are looking forward to welcome Gao Song, PGSA President at our campus in Ningbo from the 27th April to the 4th May.
Whilst in Nottingham we will be discussing the possibilities of improving our communications links to ensure that all students benefit from the University's Internationalisation agenda.
PG Survey and AGM- Coming Soon, so have your say..
The PG Survey will be live in the next week or so, so please take your chance to tell us where we should be heading next and have the chance to win £50.
Our AGM will be coming up on the 25th April 2007, from 7pm, the Dean of the Graduate School will be in attendance, so please come along, apologies to pgsa@nottingham.ac.uk
The Students Union are considering improving their provisions for students with families. This could be by ensuring better communication with University services, by encouraging regular forums for parents or the creation of an association for those with children. If you're interested in adding your opinion to find the best way to help out students with family commitments then send an email to pgsa@nottingham.ac.uk
