Disability Policy Advisory Unit (DPAU)

  • The unit is here to enable students to fulfil the inherent requirements of their course as independently as possible. Students should ensure that the university is aware of any individual requirements they may have in terms of disability, dyslexia and / or a longterm medical condition. Letting us know what you might need at an early stage will help us to help you. The services, facilities and opportunities that we provide are listed in the University's Disability Statement, which can be found on our website (see below). Each school also appoints a Disability Liaison Officer (DLO) to provide a point of reference, advice and guidance for staff and students in the school about disability issues and support. For more information about the DLO for your school, or any of the above, please get in contact with us.
