Based at the University of Nottingham Medical School at the Derby City General Hospital, GEM SOC is an associated body of the Students' Union. It offers a wide range of events and activities for students on the GEM course to get involved with.

Charity & Community Affairs

Last Year GEMSOC raised over £3000 for two national and one local charity. Recent community projects have included running basic life support classes in schools, and repairing the play area outside the Children's Hospital at Derby
