Students' Union Council - Dates of Meetings 2007/2008
Union Council is your best chance to have your say. If you want something to change either within the Union or in the University then you should come down to Union Council. There are a number of meetings of Union Council each year and each meeting is very different. The dates, times and venues for each meeting for the next year are available here so put them in your diary!
The close of business is the date by which you must submit motions and policies. Motions allow you change the way the Union operates. If you submit a policy and it is passed at Union Council it will become the official view of the Students' Union. Current policies range from freedom of speech to free range eggs, and exam feedback to environmental responsibility. You can find all the policies the Union current holds here.
All business for Union Council must be submitted to sucouncil@nottingham.ac.uk by the close of business otherwise it will have to wait for the next meeting of Council. Steering Committee are the people who run Union Council and will deal with all the business. They can also answer any questions you have about Union Council if you email them at that address.
