Positions within the Students Union

As of Thursday 6th December 2007, the ways in which you can get involved with the Students' Union have changed massively. We cut down the number of elections we run and we're inviting you to get involved in whatever interests you. There will be more information in the new year so come back if you are interested in any from Education to Welfare or campaigning on issues as vast as the environment to our commercial services.

There are still elections for certain committees which are shown below:

The Students' Union is a huge organisation, providing social activities, advice and representation to thousands of students. Would you like to be able to say you had some part in that?

Get Involved

There are still positions available for you to run for. If you look below you can see the vacancies which we still have. Your chance to get involved is at Union Council on Tuesday 12th February, 7pm, at Sutton Bonington when you can stand for any of the following positions. To get elected you will have to fill out a short nomination form and make a one minute speech at council (and maybe answer some questions). The nomination form is available from the Democracy and Communications Officer, Gavin Todd-James.
