Job Description: I represent student interests in the wider community, including the provision of quality accommodation and crime prevention. My role is to improve our relationship with permanent residents, develop student input in our community and promote the positive impact students make, so that students get the very best out of where they live.
Aims: As only the second ever SU community officer, I will be getting even more students involved in our community and really shouting about the positive impact students make. I hope to take community issues to the forefront, continually working for better housing and safer streets and I hope to take the ‘Sshh! Campaign’ from patronizing to iconic!
