Committees / Equal Opportunities Committee
The Equal Opportunities Committee compromises of representatives from various associations and a number of elected members. It meets regularly to discuss current issues and organise events and campaigns to raise awareness of equality and diversity. The Committee works closely with the many religious and cultural societies that exist within the Students' Union. The Committee is also jointly responsible, alongside the Environment and Social Justice Committee for the organisation of One World Week.
