You can now apply online for your NUS extra Discount Card for only £10!
You will benefit from a huge range of discounts locally and nationally.
WHAT DO I GET?
You get access to thousands of discounts with loads of compaines, Amazon.co.uk, PC World, Ticketmaster, JJB, TopShop. No other card saves you more!
HOW MUCH DOES IT COST?
£10
WHY DO I HAVE TO PAY £10?
You have to pay £10 because unlike in previous years when there has only been a handful of companies you could get discount with, there are now over 100 different companies you can get discount with and your NUS Extra Card also includes the ISIC Branding (International Student Identity Card) providing you with over 35,000 discounts in 100 countries that used to cost £7. Your NUS Extra Card is effectively 2 cards for the price of 1.
Your NUS Extra Card is in addition to the University Card and is the only form of discount card that will be excepted by companies that have agreed to participate with the NUS Extra Card. These companies are displayed on this link:
Your NUS Extra Card is valid for 13 months from 1st September - 31st October each year, giving you chance to apply for another one when you return to University in September.
All other companies who are not participating will except your normal University Card for discount.
The money from every card sale is invested back in to your Students' Union which means better services, better support and a stronger Students' Union to represent you.
HOW DO I GET ONE?
To apply online from home you need a credit card or debit card, an email address and a method of uploading a photograph.

- Follow the easy steps on the web, upload your photo and make your payment.
WHAT HAPPENS AFTER I HAVE APPLIED FOR AN NUS EXTRA CARD?
You will receive an email from NUS to confirm receipt of your order with a PDF version of your card attached. Within 14 days you will receive a second email confirming that your card is ready to be collected from the collection point you selected online. When you receive this email ensure you take your University card as identification to prove you are a University of Nottingham student.
WHERE DO I COLLECT MY NUS EXTRA CARD?
Your NUS extra card will be delivered to Students' Union Reception, Portland Building, University Campus within 14 days of your application or if you are a healthcare student you will be able to collect it from your school (www.campusconnection.co.uk).
Sutton Bonington students will be able to collect their NUS Extra cards from the Sutton Bonington Students' Union Treasury office located in the Amenities Building from 1 - 2.30 on Mondays and Thursdays. All other times they will be available to collect from the Students' Union reception, Portland Building, University Park Campus between the hours of 9 - 5.
On collection you will be required to provide proof of identity that you are a University of Nottingham student i.e., smart card or enrolment letter.
You will then be asked for your signature in return for your NUS Extra Card and discount booklet which will be in a sealed NUS extra envelope.
