Congratulations! You are about to become a student at one of the biggest, busiest and most exciting universities in the country—an achievement worth celebrating! We are here to give you the most fun, jam-packed and memorable first week of university ever, full of parties, fancy dress, movie nights, daytime events, inter-hall competitions, madness, laughs and new friends that you will know forever. We proudly present to you, Week One……
It is the largest Freshers week in the country.....!
Week One is your chance to celebrate your first week as a student at Nottingham - whether you love to go out and party or prefer watching live music and chilling out, there is something here for everyone. We have organised a week full of exciting events and activities just for you lot! As a fresher you will receive a highly sought after Week One wristband on your first day which gives you access to Week One events and allows you to buy tickets for activities open to your hall.
By now you will hopefully know what hall you’ll be living in this year, so check out the links and get the first glimpse of your trusty Week One reps. They will be looking after you all week, catering to your every need, taking you out, and answering any questions you have about uni life!

Not living in Halls?
Are you starting an undegraduate course this year but won't be living in University accommodation? Don't panic, Week One is for everyone, regardless of where you live. The Regional Students' Association will make sure that your Week One is just as fun and accessible for you as it is for students living on campus! And it all starts with the RSA Mixer Event.
Starting as a Postgraduate student at Nottingham this year? Don't worry, we haven't forgotten about you! For all the information about special events available to post grads students in Week One, please visit the pgsa website.
NUS Extra Discount Card will be available to apply for online during August 2008.
This is available to all University of Nottingham students and for just £10 you will gain from a huge range of discounts nationally and locally.
We will be running a number of daytime and non alcholic events.
Details will be released during September.
