Societies Executive Committee
The Societies Exec is the executive body of the societies. Its members are elected by Societies Council and exist to support individual societies, work for societies as a whole and act on Societies Council instruction. It is a working committee that is responsible for delivering reports to Societies Council and to Students' Union Council.

I am jointly resposible for allocating more than £45,000 of grant to societies over the year. I provide advice and support to societies on financial issues, and sit on Union finance committee.

I provide societies with IT and website support where I can, or help them find the right person. I administer the societies exec web pages and encourage all socieities to use the free webspace that is afforded them by the SU.
