Students' Union Reception - Room Bookings

ROOM BOOKINGS 07-08

Please note that the following rooms in PB will be obsolete from June 2007: A23, A29, B9 and B6

All requests for the Ballroom will also need to come through us

Societies will be able to book out the bar venue room. This can be split into 2 rooms with a capacity of 270 and 420. Dancing Societies will be advised to use the smaller room for flooring and use of the mirrors

This will be available for society use on the following days: Monday's 9am-10.30pm, Tuesday's 9am-6pm, Thursday's 9am-6pm, Fridays's 9am-6pm, Saturday's 12noon-6pm and Sunday's 2pm-6pm. Out of these times you will need to speak to Gemma Chance, Events Manager, who is based in Student Activities, e-mail gemma.chance@nottingham.ac.uk

We can also now book the following rooms in Trent Building in addition to LG18, LG19 and Great Hall: LG6 (capacity 30), LG9 (capacity 30) and LG11 (capacity 60)

Room booking information
Bookings can only be made for affiliated clubs and societies

If you are wishing to make a departmental booking then the Timetabling Office on E Floor, PB, ext 18180, will be able to help you. If you are an individual then you will need to speak to the East Midlands Conference Centre on ext 15000

Booking a room
It would be gratefully appreciated, wherever possible, if you could check the availability of the room before you enquire at Students' Union Reception www.nottingham.ac.uk/timetable. This site will also let you check room layouts/what equipment the room has etc.

We will make every attempt to book your room for you whilst you wait, but if we are busy then we will make your booking at our earliest convenience and put your notification in your club/society pigeon hole in Student Activities

You can either print off a room booking form, call in at the SU reception for a form or complete and e-mail it back to us at suroombookings@nottingham.ac.uk and we will notify you accordingly
